In the entertainment-driven industry, no format, discipline or technology is better than its artists. Artists ideate, they bring their passion into entertainment, culture and philosophy. Artists breathe life into life. When you remove their insight, and replace their talent to optimize the click machine, you will be left with pretty pictures that mean nothing, and words that have already been said.

Art with a capital “A” is a human process of attempting something. The most advanced AI tools in the world do not attempt, they only carry out, as a tool is designed to carry out its function. I don’t think A.I. will never make art because it is technically incapable, but because it simply doesn’t want to. An extraordinary about of time and money is spent on the “Intelligence” part of A.I. that we’re forgetting the “artificial”. No matter where the technology brings us, it will always return to a human hand pointing to it, asking “is it Art?”

What I Do

Filmmaking
It’s my lifelong passion to tell stories with moving pictures. I can’t remember a time I didn’t want to hold a camera. I got my BFA in Film & Television from SCAD, and currently work as a video editor for Lemur Studios in Buffalo NY, with passion projects on the side.

Photography
Photography has always been a side gig for me, but hey- I always keep a camera around and I love going places. Over the years that’s allowed me to make a gallery of decent looking memories.

Painting
My newly rediscovered passion has been abstract painting with acrylics. When Writer’s block hits or film gets too busy, painting is always there as a quick and raw way to make art for me. Hope you see something you like!

I’ve also written scripts on the screen and on stage, and a fair share of novels for NaNoWriMo! A few of my works have been released and performed in local theaters in Buffalo and Savannah. If you’re bored and want to read something I wrote, check out the blog or hey just shoot me a message ;-)
